....Considered one of the most versatile motor stuntmen in the world. Ian has been touring for the past 24 years entertaining crowds with his array of breathtaking stunts - many of which are world firsts!
1978
Ian broke the South African Record by leaping his motorcycle over 10 cars.
1980
Ian became the first person in the world to wheelie a standard farm tractor on balance point. Just to add to the excitement, his assistant did a handstand on a ladder connected to the front of the tractor, 5 meters above the ground.
1981
Ian became the first person in the world to drive a standard farm tractor on its side. This feat resulted in an invite to perform his act at the London Royal Show in the presence of the Queen of England.
Ian won the South Coast Motorcross Championship and also ran a Motorcross school for up-coming promising riders.
He became the first and only person ever to ride over the arch of Durbans Toll Gate bridge. Only 500mm wide and 25m above the ground. A stunt still spoken about today.
Ian won the South African flat track championships, winning with 50 out of 50 points for two consecutive years. In other words, winning every race he entered over a two year period.
1991
Ian drove his ute 12.5km (7.76 miles) on two wheels. (This was 25 laps around a speedway track). Setting a new South African record and breaking the American record of 5.9 miles. He only stopped when the front tyre blew out. Fortunately the ute did not roll.
1996
On the 5th of October, Ian covered a distance of 43.2km (26.84 miles) on two wheels. This equaled 83 laps of non-stop driving in just under one and a half hours. This was done in a one ton loading capacity Ford ute without power steering, on special pneumatic tyres designed by Ian. Setting a new world record for driving a ute on two wheels.
1998
After much negotiation with Armscor, Ian managed to purchase a Rolls Royce Viper Jet engine. He turned this into the largest fastest flame throwing jet propelled ute you have ever seen!
2000
Ian clear jumped his monster truck, "Terror Trip" over 11 cars. Setting a new Australian record. (previously 5 cars)
2002
Ian wheelied his monster truck on balance point on its back wheels. He is the only person outside of America to do this.
